FAQ

Pregnancy Symptoms

Hope is the only thing stronger than fear.

How much will my appointment cost?

It is our primary goal to offer women the care and support they need. That is why all of our services are offered at no cost. No matter what service you are scheduling an appointment for, you do not need to bring any form of payment with you.

Can I bring someone with me?

We want you to feel as comfortable as possible during your visit at Aim Women’s Center. You are welcome to bring a friend, significant other, sibling, parent, child, or family member with you to your appointment.

Will my appointment be confidential?

Every appointment, whether it is for pregnancy testing or options counseling, is held in strict confidentiality, no matter how old you are. It is your decision to decide when to share this information.

Can I be pregnant and have an STD?

Yes, you can be pregnant and have an STD at the same time. In fact, having an untreated STD while pregnant can cause serious harm to you and to your pregnancy. If you believe you may have been exposed, you should be tested immediately. We can offer testing and treatment if you have a positive pregnancy test and are considering abortion.

Will my insurance company know about my appointment?

Because our services are free of charge, your insurance company will not know about your appointment. This way, we can be sure that you get the resources and services you need in a completely confidential manner.

What if I don’t know my next steps?

We can help. Your best first step is to make an appointment with us to receive a no-cost pregnancy test and ultrasound, and to discuss your options. We will provide you with the resources necessary to make the best and most informed decision.
