If you’re considering an abortion, you may not even need one.
You need answers to these questions:
Am I really pregnant?
It’s possible to have a positive pregnancy test and NOT be pregnant. The best way to confirm your pregnancy is through an ultrasound. We offer free, laboratory quality pregnancy testing and limited ultrasound.
How far along am I?
Knowing how far along you are can help determine what your options are.
Is it important to know if I have an STD before I terminate a pregnancy?
Yes. Having an STD (sexually transmitted disease) when you have an abortion can cause Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), leading to a lifetime of reproductive health problems. We can discuss this with you at the time of your appointment.
The staff and volunteers at AIM Women’s Center are here to provide you with all of the information that you need to make an informed choice about your pregnancy. We want you to know that you are not alone. AIM is a place where you can ask all the questions you want, see how far along you are, take your time making your decisions and receive services free of charge. We will talk to you anytime you need and help you when things are tough. You may be feeling pressure to make a decision, but in reality, you have plenty of time to get all of your questions answered.
