Experience the Healing you Deserve
At the AIM Women’s Center, we recognize that everyone’s experience with abortion is different. It is the uniqueness of our experience that sometimes causes us to not share that experience with others. How will anyone else understand? That is why we meet you right where you are in dealing with the pain and suffering of a past abortion.
We encourage you to take the first step in your recovery from this struggle by allowing us to hear your story, your experience, and offer the support that you need and deserve to find healing.
We can journey with you one-on-one and also share with you the Rachel’s Vineyard Retreat that we sponsor through the center. The retreat is a unique opportunity for you to be in a safe and loving environment, a time away from your busy life to give this area of your life the attention that it deserves – that you deserve. It is a life changing experience.
The following are quotes from some of our previous retreat participants:
“I came away from the retreat feeling like I was surrounded by love for the entire weekend. I walked away from it feeling more at peace than when I arrived. Listening to others’ abortion stories helps us to understand that we’re not alone. When I listen to another’s abortion story, I see how easy it is for me to forgive her for what she did, which in turn, helped me along the path of forgiving myself for what I did.”
“I found the retreat to be a peaceful place that promotes and encourages healing. It was a safe place where the masks that we wear could finally be taken off and the real emotions could be shown without fear of rejection or judgment. I realized that I wasn’t alone, and I had never really been alone. I really enjoyed the living Scriptures because they gave me an opportunity for response to Jesus. I was able to get to a new place of trust with Christ and with others. Being able to honor my precious babies who never were able to live here on earth and then being able to release them into Jesus’ arms was healing and freeing.”
“This retreat was life-changing and uplifting. I feel blessed and honored by God to be with all of you. Many of the exercises and readings meant a lot to me. I really learned so much about myself.”
“I believe we experienced the “Heart of God.” We all felt we were in His presence, with Him leading the weekend – with Him fully engaged with us – in His Heart”
