Use your time and talents . . . Join the AIM Women’s Center Volunteer Team
Every day the AIM Women’s Center is reaching out to help women and men in the Tri-State area. Here are some specific ways you can help. No experience is necessary. We provide training for all areas of service. Men and women are invited to join.
Positions Available
- Receptionist — direct calls, welcome clients, some cleaning tasks
- Hotline Helper – answer client calls from your home when the center is closed
- Client Advocate – one on one contact with clients providing options and support to those who come to the center
- Prayer Partner – provide daily prayer coverage for entire ministry
- Grant Writer – assist in research & writing of grants
- Hospitality Specialist – help plan, promote, decorate, for fundraising/informational events
- Doctor, Nurse, Sonographer, Midwife – use your professional training to assist clients
- Medical Presenter – Nurses and medical personnel to do presentations in our Bridges Program
- Meal Specialist – meal organization & food prep for Rachel’s Vineyard Retreats
- Store Specialist – maintain incentive store for Bridges clients
- Event Planning Assistant – help to coordinate fundraising events such as the Baby Bottle Campaign, Annual Banquet, Baby Showers
- Church liason – Connect your church with the AIM Women’s Center
- Domestic Engineer – Assist with cleaning of the facility
- Many more volunteer positions available
Basic Qualifications
- Committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior & Lord
- Sincere desire to reach out with the love of Jesus to people in distress
- Strong commitment & dedication to pro-life position
- Faithfully involved in church fellowship
- Ability to respect & keep information confidential
- Dependable
- Agreement of Statement of Principles, Statement of Faith & center policies
- Completion of volunteer training & orientation
